First Bus Retirement Savings Plan Wins DC Pension Scheme of the Year

We are delighted to announce that the First Bus Retirement Savings Plan has been named DC Pension Scheme of the Year at the 2026 PensionsAge Awards.
This is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the work that goes into making our pension scheme engaging, accessible and relevant for members across First Bus.
A special thank you goes to our Member Nominated Trustees, many of whom are bus drivers and engineers. Alongside their day jobs, they dedicate their time to helping colleagues understand their pension, visiting depots, canteens and bus stations across the country to raise awareness of the Scheme and encourage engagement.
The award also reflects the hard work and commitment of the First Bus pensions team, our advisers and everyone involved in supporting and developing the Scheme.
The Trustee Board said:

The award was presented at the PensionsAge Awards ceremony, which celebrates excellence and innovation across the pensions industry.
